原文: The Palace of Wonder opened its doors to the public, after a year-long wait, and what better way to kick off the first evening than with a half-dozen of Japan's most promising up and coming bands. At the top of Friday's line-up was the trio Sister Jet, bringing all of their earnest enthusiasm and energy to the tight stage packed into the corner of POW. They were remarkably tight for being just years away from the student life, and their enthusiasm was infectious as they played a mixture of rocking, blues-inflected music reminiscent of early Replacements, and Buffalo, New York rockers Goo Goo Dolls. Many of their songs were hummable, and they rocked a 45-minute set that turned many heads in the POW area, no easy feat when you're competing against a casino, a fire show, and Franz Ferdinand who leaned against the bar inside the Crystal Palace for most of the evening.
