Conn 10M Tenor saxophone. Serial #331000 (1940). Excellent vintage for the Conn 10M. Without a doubt this is original lacquer. The engraving is sharp. “ Naked Lady” on the bell. It is about 80-85% clean. The bell area is fairly clean. The rusty appearance to the engraving is the result of the following: previous owner had painted over the naked lady engraving-my guess is they were a member of a church groupd out here! (I did buy it locally). The neck is in very good shape. Completely repadded with new Selmer style flat pads, Conn flat metal resonators, and new felts and corks. Good spring action on this horn. Plays with a nice fat/full, vintage Conn sound. Plays with good ease from the top to the bottom; it really does play with good ease and a very full sound Both alternate G-G# and alt F-Eb are in good working order. Mother of Pearl rollers. I stand behind this horn. I like it a lot. It is a classic Conn 10M.
