A little while ago, ふーさん talked about the new Park Chan-Wook movie called "I'm a Cyborg but that's OK". Well, I saw that a few nights ago! That was really fun!
His movies are always very beautiful to watch because he often uses bright colors, but this story is a little different from his normal one. It is more a love story where a girl in a hospital believes she is a robot. She falls in love with another person in the hospital who believes he can steal people's souls! Of course, because it is Park Chan-Wook, there is some revenge and violence, but mostly it is a sweet, almost romantic comedy. If anyone finds this, I really recommend it.
And...if you see it, tell me your opinion of the ending. It was a littel unexpected for me.
臭い豆きらいさん
I didn't expect the ending too,
even if I couldn't understand Korean at all in Korea.
He made this movie because he wanted to watch movie with his doughter.
Yes, his movie is always very violence.
So in Korea, his little doughter can't watch his movies.
I'm looking to watching it in Japan in Japanese.
As ふ〜さん says, this director has some great movies. Especially オールドボーイ. That is also the 1st movie in a series of 3, which are all good.
I think also, we can't watch even this movie with kids...haha
It is pretty scary in some places, but the message is very sweet I think. For me, the people in the movie may have mental problems, but they try to make their life as normal as possible.
The ending is really sudden though, I definitely wasn't ready for that! ^_^
