Assistant/Associate Professor, Pharmacology, Northeastern University
Responsibilities: The successful candidate for this tenure-track faculty position will be expected to establish an extramurally-funded research program and participate in professional PharmD and graduate teaching in pharmaceutics. The candidate will also be expected to mentor master's and doctoral level students and participate in departmental, college and university services.
Qualifications: The candidate should have an advanced terminal doctoral degree (Ph.D., Sc.D., etc.), demonstrated research productivity in pharmaceutics and/or drug delivery, which would complement the department's strengths in targeted drug delivery, nanomedicine, neuropharmacology, drug discovery and medicinal chemistry. Demonstrated record of accomplishment promoting and incorporating diversity and inclusion. Applicants with current transferable funding are highly desirable.
Additional Information: The department has dynamic Ph.D. and MS programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics & Drug Delivery, Interdisciplinary & Drug Discovery and Medicinal Chemistry.
