Basic SQL and Database Theory, October 16, 2 – 4 PM An introduction to relational databases, with hands-on exercises using the popular MySQL open source database system. The material covered will be fairly general and therefore applicable to other database systems that use SQL and the relational model, such as PostgreSQL and Oracle. Presented by Mark Komarinski, Senior Research Systems Architect, HMS Research Information Technology Group. Prerequisite: NONE
