Every Friday nights from 7PM, there's a "Funky Party". This is an international party which is held by J-house, an international church in Osaka. Though the name of this party is a bit "funky", the contents of the party is quite healthy and enjoyable, and it's FREE!
The contents of the party are as follows:
*Buffet-style dinner (If you want to sit then you can grab a chair)
*Group discussion
*Moving to a big hall, playing game, group discussion again
*Skit, drama, or dance
*Live concert
*Stories from pastor or church members (not formal at all)
*Program ends around 9:30-10PM. After that you can drink coffee or tea in the cafe hall or play ping pong or whatever.
No matter what your religion, nationality, gender, age is, you are more than welcomed!!
From my personal experiences, usually 40-80 people come to this party: the biggest group of age is around 18-26, half of the people are Japanese, half of the people are Christians, But those rates change depending on the week.
Don't worry about coming alone for the first time - there are always people coming for the first time.
Admission is basically free but we will be happy if you donate as much as you want to.
*Better late than not coming!
*No worries about your Japanese - most of all the programs are done both in English and Japanese.
*We won't force you to believe in Jesus or anything so don't worry about that! They(we?)'re just nice people.

毎週金曜日夜７時から、J-house（大阪にある国際教会）では「ファンキーパーティー」という名前の国際交流パーティーを開いています。パーティーのネーミングはやや怪しいですけど、名前とは裏腹にとても健全で楽しいパーティーです。参加費はカンパ制（４００〜１５００円程度？）です。
プログラムは、次のような感じで流れます。
・プログラム開始。カフェホールにて立食パーティー形式で食事
・グループディスカッション
・大ホールに移動、ゲーム、ディスカッション
・即興劇やダンスなど
・ライブコンサート（時々プロの方もやってきます）
・牧師先生、または教会員からのお話（全然堅苦しくないです）
・プログラム終了（９時半〜１０時）。カフェホールでコーヒーを飲んだり話したり卓球したり掃除したり。
クリスチャンの方も、ノンクリスチャンの方も、日本人も、外国の方も、男女、老若を問わず是非ご参加ください。
参考までに、普段来ている人たちは４０〜８０人くらい、そのうちほとんどは１８〜２６歳くらい。日本人が半分。他はバラバラ。クリスチャンが半分といったところでしょうか・・・？？でも毎週結構変わります。
「誰も知り合いがいないのでちょっと一人で行くのは・・・」という人も大丈夫。毎回初めて来られる方が３〜７人ほどいます。
参加費はカンパ制です。管理人の経験から言うと、一人大体４００〜１５００円くらい払っているみたいです・・・が、まぁそれは個々人自由ということで。別に誰がどれだけ払ったかはバレないし、誰も気にしません。（笑）
※途中参加・退室でも大丈夫です。
※英語がしゃべれなくても大丈夫です。プログラム中は随時翻訳されますし、周りに英語がしゃべれる人が必ずいます。
※キリスト教会主催ですが、無理やり宗教勧誘するようなことはないので、ご安心ください。＾＾
