で、早速今度の土曜日に台北のBlissで For the Benefit of Stevie & Sonya があります。
1/12にLiving Roomで行われたFriends of Stevie Burnt Guitar Benefit Nightに続いて、今回はBlissです。前回はさながらMini Bashを思わせる好評なライブでした。

今朝、ICRT (International Community Radio Taipei)でBoPoMoFoのデモＣＤから４曲オンエアーされました。
Capone's イタリアン レストランでのイベントの一環として'Her Name Was Ruth', 'What Went Wrong?', Blues Floozy' そして 'Empty'の４曲が８時半から９時半の間に流されました。
BoPoMoFoがメンフィスのB.B. Kings's ブルースクラブで演奏したこと、Sunスタジオでレコーディングセッションをしたこと、近々リリースされるアルバムのことなどが話されました。
今週の金曜日と土曜日、8:30〜10:30にCapone'sでBoPoMoFoのギグがあります。

Hey, Blues Fans,
The Blues are making further in-roads on the local music scene.
Four songs from BoPoMoFo's demo CD got played on air this morning on ICRT. 'Her Name Was Ruth', 'What Went Wrong?', Blues Floozy' and 'Empty' were played between 8:30 to 9:30 as part of a promotion for events at Capone's Italian Restaurant.
We also talked briefly about BoPoMoFo's trip to Memphis for the IBC and the thrill of playing at BB King's Blues Club on Beale Street. Later, on air, we talked about our recording sessions at the legendary Sun Studio and the upcoming release of our new album.
Catch BoPoMoFo at Capone's this Friday and Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 and enjoy some fine Cajun cuisine while listening to house rockin' Chicago-style Blues, old school R&B and original songs.

Dear Friends,
The Muddy Basin Ramblers are pleased to announce that we're releasing our first CD, and we're celebrating with a party and special performance this Saturday, November 3 at Huashan Culture Park. Address and other details are in the flyer attached with this mail.
The party goes from 6:30 to 10pm, door charge of NT250, and we'll be serving complimentary food and wine before the music starts. There will be a cash bar provided by the fine folks from Bobwundaye.
Get there early so you don't miss out on the food, and all those great friends you haven't seen in so long! There will also be a small photo exhibition from past Ramblers shows. Of course, we'll be selling CDs and T-shirts, and there will be a few fun goodies we'll be giving away.
It's going to be a great party and we hope to see you there!

僕は個人的にこのバンドのファンで久しぶりに見れて良かったです。
最初にこのバンドを見たときは、台湾にもこんなバンドがいるんだと思って感動しましたね〜。

最近のCapnone'sでのBoPoMoFoのギグには台北スイングというダンスチームがフロントで踊るのでなかなか良か良かって感じです。
ギグの途中の休憩時間に台北スイングのダンス教室があるのですが、これも楽しそうですよ。この日は心なしか参加者が多かった気がします。
このダンス教室の時に、ダグラス親分、急にお腹がきりきり痛くなってこれ以上歌うのは無理ということで、急遽退場というハプニングが発生しましたが、クッキー、クラウス、Muddy Basin Ramblersのデビットが変わり番こにボーカルを取ってギグは事なきを得ました。
っていうかクッキー、クラウス、デビットのボーカルってのもなかなかまた違った感じで良かったみたい。
ダグラス親分、今は良くなって問題ないようです。よかった。
義援金の方は、１枚２００元（日本円約６００円）でラッキードロー券で、その売り上げを寄付するっていう方式で約３万２千元（日本円約１０万円）くらい集まりました。
これは台湾の赤十字（中華民國紅十字會總會）に寄付されます。
