I'm Isao Tokuhashi. I was born in Narashino, Chiba Prefecture.
I am living in Machida, Tokyo. I love this area. Greenery hills, beautiful flowers, and really convenient Machida Station area. In this city, you can live in whichever urban area or countryside. I think this is really interesting.
But sometimes I feel that it is a little bit far from my workplace... If I move to somewhere, I would like to live in
Yoyogi-Uehara, Meidai-mae or Naka-meguro.
Oh, this is very, very long self-introduction. Thanks for reading!
Dear Shin-chan san,
Hi, I'm Toku-chang. Welcome to this community!!
Yes, I hope that this community would be useful for people who want to know how Tokyo looks like beforehand. Please
ask us about anything related to the city of Tokyo!
I'm not a city guy at all. I was raised in countryside of Chiba
Prefecture. When I entered the university, I started my life in Yokohama. And 2 years after that, I got involved in Tokyo people and things for the first time.
My parents are from Kochi, Shikoku region. I'm always think it's my roots.
Thanks from Toku-chang.
Nice to meet you.
My nickname is Nats.
It is a meaning named summer in Japanese.
It edits and it designs.
It is thought it is good when the collaboration can be done with more various
people in the future.
It especially likes cartoon and animated cartoon though it is variously
interested.
It often goes to Akihabara.
My best regards.
I was born in Osaka. I'm so-called "Kansai-jin" here although I'm not funny ;-) Now, I live in Ichikawa City (Gyotoku), Chiba. It's kinda far from Tokyo, but near from Tokyo Disney Land. However, I haven't been to TDL although I've lived here for almost three years.
Anyway, I love watching movies, especially Hollywood movies (more info: plz look at my profile). I watch any kinds of movies as long as they have a good, solid script with a good, solid director who can realize his/her own unique vision. I saw "E.T." when I was a little child, and it blew me away. After I saw and thought about the movie a lot, I decided to go to the U.S. to study about the filmmaking.
Well, please feel free to send me any sort of message in English if you want. I'm also very curious and happy to hear what you think and feel about this country. Thanx.
My nickname "Natsu" means "Summer" in Japanese. I'm working as free-lance editor / designer for publishing companies in Tokyo. I hope I can meet with various kinds of people in this community, and collaborate with them in many areas. Although I'm interested in a lot of stuff, I like reading comics and watching animations. My favorite place in Tokyo is Akihabara. I often hang out there.
Nice to meet you. My name is "Shinichi"(Shin-chan).
I'm living in Soja,Okayama. Do you know OKAYAMA? ww
I'm studying the urban plannig and transport planning at the Okayama univercity now.
It is decided that I will work from next spring in Tokyo. So if it is possible to talk about Tokyo with you, I am honored.
Thanks.
Dear Shinchan san,
I have been to Okayama, I mean, Kurashiki. I went there from
Kochi (My relatives live in) via Seto-Ohashi. I visited historical
area of Kurashiki with my famity then.
And long ago, I got on the ferry called "Uko Renrakusen". I and my family took the Bullet Train (Shinkansen) at Tokyo Station and went to Okayama. After that, we went to Uno by using the local line.
From Uno to Takamatsu (ferry), and from Takamatsu to Kochi (local line)... It was very long journey (It took about 12 hours!)
The good point of this community is that you can discuss Tokyo things and study English!! You can make the use of this place. Thank you veru much.
Dear Toku-chang san.
It is just what you say, and there is that I can communicate in English except that I want to know about Tokyo as the reason why I intended to participate in this community.
I'm sorry,my English is unripe, and there may be many mistakes.
I'm Andy. My home town is in North East England but I've been living in Tokyo for over two years. I currently work at a Japanese university as a teacher, and also occasionally as a freelance writer/journalist.
