５月２６日にFabricとHOLICによるチャリティーイベント「DON'T FORGET」は木曜日にも関わらず２０００人以上の集客を記録し、終始平日とは思えない盛り上がりのまま大成功で幕を閉じました。
その興奮が冷めぬまま、HOLICが５月２８日にBrick Laneの中心に位置するCafe 1001で開催されます。
土曜日から日曜日に変わる深夜スタートで朝の１０時までのマラソンパーティー。
今月のゲストには、Freerange recordのレーベルオーナーのJimpsterと、最近Ovaumlからリリースしたアルバムが好評のAgaricがベルリンから登場します。
さらにOsaka Star Festival, Minus hearts Japan@WOMB、韓国、マレーシアなどを含むアジアツアーを成功させてロンドンに戻ってきた、レジデントDJのTomoki Tamuraを筆頭に、Selective PressureのLookleftやTechscoverのZorionなどロンドンのアンダーグラウンドシーンの一躍を担うローカルDJ達のプレイも必見です。

End of May Bank holiday weekend, HOLIC is return to a hart of Brick Lane ''Cafe1001'' with a line up that’s already getting us excited. Of cause we've got a special late night licence makes the rave until 10am in the morning.
Jimpster is a HOLIC favorite who keeps the dance floor at a peak whenever he plays. His set at HOLIC night back in 2008 still gets people talking. You might know HOLIC brings two guest artists which is a Dj and a Live! This month's live act is Agaric from Berlin.

JImpster
Jamie Odell aka Jimpster and Audiomontage has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 17 years and co-running his Freerange Records (voted Best British Label 2007) label for the last 13 of those. His musical upbringing and early introduction to production and DJing have helped him forge a sound that is at once warm and deep as well as being innovative and club friendly.
His seminal Jimpster LP Messages From The Hub (1997), as well as his more dancefloor orientated Audiomontage 12”s really helped establish Jamie as an artist of some merit and he quickly became in regular demand as a remixer (over 65 at the last count!) and co producer on a wide range of underground projects. His third Jimpster LP Amour was released 3 years ago on Freerange to excellent critical acclaim and appeared in numerous published Top 20 LP's of the year charts. In recent years he has released his first original track for another label, choosing Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly for Square Up which became a big underground house track sitting in the top 5 of DJ Mag’s Hype Chart for 2 months. His most popular 12”s for Freerange include Dangly Panther, which was nominated for Best Dance Single 2008 in the coveted DJ Mag Best Of British Awards, and most recently the lush grooving deepness of Sleeper.
Recent artists to get the Jimpster midas touch in the form of a remix include Osunlade, Bob Marley, Joris Voorn, Seal, Mark Knight & Funkagenda, Marc Romboy, Solomun... the list goes on. Jamie has also built up his reputation as a highly regarded dj in the UK and around the world. With an emphasis on the deeper end of electronic house music, but not afraid to stray from the path, he retains an old school approach that has seen him booked for gigs as diverse as Fabric (London), Panarama Bar (Berlin), Cocoon (Frankfurt), Cielo (NYC), Yellow (Tokyo), Pacha (Ibiza), Crystal (Istanbul), GOA (Madrid) and Back To Basics (Leeds), and AKA & The End (London).
Agaric (We Are/ Ovum)
Patrik Skoog isn’t only one of the youngest veteran techno and house producers from Sweden, he’s also one of the most interesting and inspired.Though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional.
In the last two years, Agaric established the Club Tracks 10” series on his label We Are.Besides his own stellar productions, collaborations with close friends Shonky, Walker Barnard, Ed Davenport, and Beaner have also graced the Club Tracks series.
International support came from leading DJs like Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Ben Klock, Luciano, Joris Voorn, Magda, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, and Adam Beyer. Above all, his productions were championed by Josh Wink, who went on to sign his album debut to his Ovum imprint.
After more than 100 vinyl releases, Patrik Skoog can look back at quite a history: His harder Techno project Headroom on his label Native Diffusion, releases on Synewave, Loop, and many more long forgotten underground labels in the 90s and early 2000s left his first mark for those who know. From 2005 on, he evolved into his deeper Agaric project, with releases on his internationally celebrated We Are label, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Truesoul & Mad Eye, Raum…Musik, Sunset Diskos, Nummer, Kontra Musik, Treibstoff and Liebe Detail.
As a technical DJ with a magical sense for momentum and selection, he’s been playing worldwide for more than 10 years, while his equally as stellar Live sets are one of the few that can rock a crowd throughout its duration. Relocating to Berlin in 2007, he quickly established himself as a celebrated constant inspiration, be it for extended Bar25 after hour sets, or club nights in Watergate, Arena, and Berghain’s Panoramabar, where he now holds his We Are label nights.
Agaric’s mature, yet free floating approach to club music culture promises not only sweaty nights (and days) on the floor, but also peace of mind and revelation for the searching soul.
