new album, Hind Hind Legs, will be released on new Canadian indie label, Equator Records, on April 18th. I have one song to share with you and an album tracklist which I can't confirm (so, don't take it as gospel). The song is "(Rome) is in the Valley" and it's one of 13 tracks with a good helping of new songs and five previously self-released, but now in newly recorded versions.
"(Rome) is in the Valley" definitely shows a large leap made by the Montrealers in songwriting, playing, and the sheer tightness of the band. Upon first listen the aural image of Hot Hot Heat being swallowed by Wolf Parade reared it's carnivorous head... and I'll stand by that image... even if you can't hear it, or see it.
