Neocrust

Neocrust is an umbrella term used to describe the fusion of crust punk with epic elements of other metal and punk genres such as screamo, melodic death metal, sludge, post-metal, and post-hardcore.
Sometimes even incorporating classical instruments into the sound, such as violins, cellos etc.
Neocrust became particularly popular in the modern punk scene through bands such as His Hero Is Gone, From Ashes Rise, and Tragedy.
