The OvertonesはUKで今最も話題を集める,新人ヴォーカル･ハーモニー･グループである。彼らが最も得意とするのは,50年代,そして60年代の懐かしのメロディー,さらにノスタルジックな響きを持った楽曲。ロンドンで,塗装や内装仕事のティーブレイク中にリハーサルを行っていたところが目に留まり,たちまちアルバム契約を手に!

その結果がこのアルバム『Good Ol' Fashioned Love』。「Come Back My Love」, 「In The Still Of The Night」, 「Sh-Boom」, 「For The Longest Time」そして「Blue Moon」といったドゥーワップの名曲から,「Gambling Man」や「Caroline」といった新曲も収録!タイトル･トラックをはじめとする新曲は,彼らの為の書き下ろし曲,及び,彼ら自身の手による曲である。
