Kanashibari is a dark experimental unit, founded in 2006 by Loki Helvete.
Kanashibari performs "Spectral Dream Noise" exclusively. Behind every dream is a window into planes of the outer worlds. When our spirit leaves our body, we catch glimpses of the world behind this world, most often transformed by our minds into surreal, and often frightening scenes, images, memories, and experiences.
The darkest and most terrifying recollections, accompanied by intense fear, and referred to as nightmares, are when our soul journeys towards the lower planes, only on the very outer edge of the oceans of darkness beyond.

Kanashibari is like an aural dream diary, transforming these journey recollections into sounds, in order to increase the presence of darker supernatural activity in this world.
It is musical magic for the soul, to inspire us by what lays beyond in the realm of shadow and voice.

All songs are composed by field recordings, found sounds, dissected samples, and sparse musical instruments; recorded spontaneously on different mediums.
