Hailing from the german town of Dessau The Handshake Affair is one of the freshest things in screamo. Their intense songs come around with catchy hooks added by shouts and screams with additional synths.
Formed in spring 2006 they played lots of shows including their first germany tour in summer 2007. In november 2007 they won the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands contest and played at the Munich leg of the Taste Of Chaos tour. At their live shows they try to convince the audience of their intensive, emotional and energetic performance.
