Anaan（アナーン）がベリーダンスを始めたのは2003年。Rachel BriceとThe Indigoを見た時、彼女はトライバル･フュージョンに強く惹かれたため、2005年よりトライバルのルーツをFarashaとHennaとともに学び始めた。Anaanは自分の好きなエレクトロニカとキャバレースタイルをブレンドさせ、ユニークなトライバル・フュージョン・スタイルを創造する。アナーンはP.U.R.E TokyoとAfet Collectiveのメン バー。また、「ダンス・ノクターン」という自分自身のベリーダンスイベントを企画する。（詳細はイベントページにて）


Henna（ヘナ）は2002年にベリーダンスを始める. 東京に移り住む前に3年間エジプシャンスタイルベリーダンスを学ぶ。ベリーダンスの様々なスタイルを学び続けるうちに、アメリカン・トライバル・スタイルに出会い、フュージョンダンスへの興味を深めていく。 東京の現代性と様々な文化が溶け合うアメリカ出身というバックグラウンド が、Hennaのフュージョンダンスを生み出す源である。

Farasha（ファラーシャ）は4歳の頃よりダンスを始める。クラシックバレエ、新体操、バトントワリング、ジャスダンス、ヒップホップ、モダンダンス、フラメンコを学び、パフォーマンスをして育つ。これまでの幅広いダンス経験からインスピレーションを得て独自のトライバル・フュージョン・スタイルを生み出す。Farasha、Henna、Anaanはトライバル・フュージョン・グループRaqs Chandraが2006 年に発足したときの初期のメンバー。

Joe（ジョー）は生まれてからずっとダンスを学び続け、クラシックバレエ、ジャズダンス、フラメンコ、スコティッシュダンス、ヒップホップを踊ってきた。2006年よりアメリカン・トライバル・スタイルとトライバル・フュージョン・スタイルを学び始め、2006年にトライバル・フュージョン・グループRaqs Chandraのメンバー入りをする。Joeが踊る様々なダンススタ イルと彼女の国際的背景が見事に融合し、彼女のトライバルフュージョンスタイルを生み出す。

Anaan first started bellydancing in 2003. After seeing Rachel Brice and the Indigo, she was quickly drawn to tribal fusion style bellydance and began studying the roots of tribal along with Farasha and Henna in 2005. Anaan blends her love of electronica and cabaret to create a unique tribal fusion style. She is a member of P.U.R.E Tokyo and the Afet Collective. She also hosts her own event dedicated to alternative bellydance, Danse Nocturne. Check the events page for dates.

Henna began bellydancing in 2002. She studied Egyptian style bellydance for three years before moving to Tokyo. As she continued to study other styles of bellydance, including American Tribal Style, she became more interested in fusion dance. The modernity of Tokyo and her American melting-pot background inspires her fusion bellydance.

Farasha has been dancing since the age of 4. She has studied and performed classic ballet, gymnastics, baton twirling, jazz dance, hip-hop, modern dance, and flamenco. She uses her extensive dance background as inspiration for her style of tribal fusion bellydance. Farasha, Henna, and Anaan were founding members of the tribal fusion troupe, Raqs Chandra, in 2006.

Joe has been a student of dance her whole life. She has had training in classical ballet, jazz, flamenco, Scottish dance and hip-hop. She has also been studying American Tribal Style and tribal fusion style bellydance since 2006, and was a member of the tribal fusion troupe, Raqs Chandra. For Joe, the combination of her different dance styles, mixed with her diverse cultural background, makes for perfect tribal fusion bellydance.
