Inspired by music, culture, and the people who surround them, BARRELS is the collaboration of many friends who wanted to convey their lifestyle through unique products.

Created in 2000, the timeless and clean design of the BARRELS collection is hard to duplicate and comes in a variety of styles that appeal to the individual in a modern yet traditional way. Each piece is constructed with the commitment to bringing the customer a high quality and limited product that they’ll want to hold onto forever.

2000年にSelector(DJ)としても活動するICHI-LOWが、DJをする際に手元のおしゃれをしたいという思いからシルバーアクセサリーの製作を始めたのがBarrelsスタートのきっかけだ。シンプルかつ存在感のあるモノをコンセプトに、アクセサリーからウェア、シューズまでをトータルで展開。2006年のA/Wを区切りに約3年の充電期間を経て、ブランドスタートから10年を迎える今年、Barrelsが再び動き始める。

Barrelsの語源はイギリスのことわざLock, Stock & Barrels…「一切合切」という意味を持つ。

また、彼自身も駒沢公園のローカルスケーターであり、またBMXやFIXED BIKEにも乗っている。そんな彼らのライフスタイルの中から、Skate、FixedBike、Surf…そしてそれを取り巻くMusic、さまざまなカルチャーを内包しながら、僕らが今まで見てきたもの、今見ているものを僕らのフィルターを通してデザインに落とし込んでいく。

ローカルスケーターやライダー等もサポートしており、今後の人材を育成に協力していく予定です。
