Welcome to the inFuse community page!

The name “inFuse” stands for international networking fuse. We want this to be a network that can be used not only to make connections, but to create friends, have language and culture exchange, and to be able to use all this to ignite your future.

When you are in college you are surrounded with opportunities, and meeting people is one of the easiest things to do. Once you graduate, it becomes much harder and often the people you know are limited to the friend’s you’ve made and your work colleagues. You walk by thousands of people and opportunities a day, sometimes without saying a word.

That’s why we started inFuse. We don’t think opportunities to meet new international friends, network, make connections, or have language exchange should end with college.

Come be involved in something that has meaning while having fun. Each month we will hold several events with different international themes. We will do things such as…

Holidays/Cultural events: (Christmas party, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, St. Patrick’s day, Valentine’s day, etc…)

Business themed events (Presentations, Resumes, Interviews, etc…)

Discussions

Activities (Dance parties, cooking ethnic food, music events, trying out different restaurants, etc…)

Drinking parties

Anything that you are interested in trying!

This isn’t a club JUST for going drinking, but a chance to have culture, and language exchange while making friends and connections. (…because of course there will be plenty of drinking parties too.)

We are just starting out, so we are still gathering people. As more people join, we will continue planning more and more events. So come be a part of something great and let’s build an awesome community together.

If you are a college student, a recent college graduate, graduate student, or have just started working, all are welcome! If you saw this page and are at least a little interested, please join this community so that you can receive information about future events.

INFUSEという名前に僕らは二つの意味を込めました。

Infuse・・・＜信念、思想、活力など＞を吹き込む、＜雰囲気などが＞＜場所＞をただよう

またInternational Network Fuseともかけてあって、「国際ネットワーク起爆装置」と訳します。
私達はこのコミュニティを国際的なコネクションを作るきっかけとして提案します。

『英語を真面目に勉強しませんか？』

もちろんただ勉強するだけではないです。みんなで色々なイベントを通して、楽しみながら勉強していきます。初級者から上級者までどんな人でも気軽に参加出来ます。

毎週、違ったトピックで勉強していきます。例えば・・・

・文化的なもの（イースター、セイントパトリックスデイ、バレンタインデイ、サンクスギヴィング、etc）
・アメリカの飲み会ゲーム
・ビジネス（プレゼンテーション、コミュニケーション、ライティング、etc）
・アクティビティ（ダンスパーティ、フォーマルな食事会、etc）
・英会話（トピックをなんでも選んでディスカッション）
・何でも皆さんの要望次第

ただ飲み会だけのようなコミュニティにするつもりはありません。（飲み会はありますがｗ）
みんなで英語の上達を励まし合っていけるようなそんなものにしていくつもりです。

最初は人数がなかなか集まらないと思うので、イベントを多く開く事が出来ないと思います。
一緒に少しずつ大きくして、いいものを作っていきましょう！

大学を卒業し、こういったサークルのようなものを見つけるのは難しいと思います。
趣味がない方も、自分を磨きたい方も大歓迎です。
大学生、大学院生、社会人の方待ってます。
