KenTyla （ ケン タイラ ）
1979年7月3日生まれ、アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州アナハイム出身、日系2世。
単身渡米し日本庭園の造園業を成功させた父親のもと、剣道をはじめとする武道に熱中していたジュニアハイスクール時代に偶然 "AEROSMITH"を聴き、エネルギッシュでフィジカルな "Steven Tyler" のヴォーカルに衝撃を受け、「 Rock Singerになりたい！」と自分の将来を決意する。
仲間の中では"HIP HOP"が全盛。バンドを結成したくてもチャンスに恵まれず、１人ＣＤにあわせて憧れのシンガーを真似る日々を送る。
家族の慣習通り日本の大学への入学の準備の最中、とある雑誌で見かけた、著名音楽プロデューサー Joey Carbone 主催の“在米日本人・日系人”対象のミュージシャンオーディションに友人の勧めで応募。見事グランプリを獲得（グランプリ獲得の連絡を受けた翌日、日本の大学からの合格通知も届く ）、Joey Carbone のもと、デビューに向けた準備を開始する。Joeyと共に制作したデモテープが日本のソニーミュージックに持ち込まれ、キューンレコードからのデビューが決定する。2002年9月、1stシングル ＜ Yester-morrow ＞ リリース。リリースと同時に在京 FMステーションである「 Inter fm 」を中心としたステーションネットワーク [ MEGA - NET ]（ Inter fm、RADIO I、FM cocolo、LOVE fm ）で初の試みとなる[ MEGA - NET RECOMMEND ]を獲得、ケタはずれの回数がエアプレイされる。
現在、LAでの1stアルバムのレコーディングを全て終了、7月リリースに向けてスタンバイを完了した。
日本とアメリカ…“剣道”と“ Basketball ”を愛し、大学で比較文化学を専攻し２つの国の文化を体感してきたKenTyla。インターネットを立ち上げて指先でマウスをクリックするだけで、地球の裏側の情報が瞬時に入手できる環境が整ったこの時代にKenTylaのようなアーティストが誕生したのはもはや必然である。

In the junior high school time when it was absorbed in various Bushido including kendo with the basis of his father who did the solo visit to America, and made gardening of a Japanese garden successful, as the result shocked by the energetic and physical vocal of Steven Tyler when he heard AEROSMITH by chance, he decided his own future like I want to be set to Rock Singer.However, in his friends, Hip-Hop had become the height of prosperity. Although he wanted to form a rock band, since it was not blessed with an opportunity, he had the days which imitate the singer who had a longing in accordance with the music. To the midst which was being prepared according to his family's custom for matriculating in the university in Japan, he read a certain magazine, and he knew that the musician audition for Japanese residents and Japanese descent residents in the U.S. which Joey Carbone who is a prominent music producer was sponsoring would be held, he was recommended to his friend and subscribed for it. He won Grand Prix splendidly (The notice of success from the university in Japan also arrived at the next day of the day when he received connection of the Grand Prix acquisition), and he started preparation towards the debut with Joey Carbone. The demo which he made with Carbone went into Sony Music Japan at mind, and his debut from Ki/oon Records was determined.
He released 1st Single in September, 2002. Simultaneously, as for this song, the air play of the number of times of a gap was carried out, as for the beam, this was what is depended on having gained [MEGA-NET RECOMMEND] used as the first trial in the station network [MEGA-NET] (Inter-FM, Radio-I, FM-cocolo, LOVE-FM) centering on Inter-FM that stay-in-Tokyo radio station. Now, he ended all recordings of 1st album in LA, and completed the preparation for releasing this album in July. Japan and America --- and KenTyla loved kendo and Basketball, and majored in comparison culture study at the university, and have felt the culture of two countries. In this time when the environment which can receive even the information of an endless distant country only by starting the internet and clicking a mouse by the fingertip in an instant was ready, naturally an artist like KenTyla already appeared.
"I want to sing what year after all the time. A pleasant thing, a future hot thing, and I feel great expectation to all. Singing-good melody --That would mean the world to me."
