This year's hanami party was held in Ukima park, Itabashi ward, on April 4th.
It was a Willbe school event and a lot of students, teachers and staff took part in it.
Cherry blossom trees in the park bloomed about 80-90 percents, but the weather was cloudy and the temperature was a little chilly.
Everyone was freezed and said 'it's cold today.' all the time.
We brought many kinds of international foods and snacks, and ate them under the (cloudy) sky.
I bought a large size of pizza for lunch at Pizza hat before I got to the park.
I shared my pizza with everybody, and 16 pieces of them were gone quickly.
There was a photo contest. We brought our favorite photos.
We asked other people if they can show me their photos, and then answered some simple questions, for example "When/Where was it taken?", in English.
At the end, we voted and decided the Most Valuable Photography(M.V.P. in short).
A young woman, who took a beautiful aurora in Finland, got the grandprix and prize.
