OpenAir Radio is an outlet for creative media based at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, based in the Borough of Camden in Central London, United Kingdom. Run by alumni, current students and staff at the School, OpenAir is dedicated to varied and original programming on world music, culture and current affairs.

The station builds on the rich and varied expertise of the institution, providing programmes with a strong focus on the regions of Africa, Asia and the Middle East, as well as their Diasporas.

We are currently webcasting on www.openair.org.uk a selection of live and pre-recorded programmes from our archive of over 120 hours, includes music documentaries and DJ sessions, literature, news and current affairs.

We produce programmes both on FM and Web.
