Prime Minister Koizumi will resign his position in this
September. His administration has been about five
years. He was not a strong candidate at first, but he
was selected by election of Liberal Democratic Party
(LDP).

Many people thought that his administration would be
short, but the prospect was missed. What's the
reason? At that time Japanese society needed change,
because Japanese economy was bad, and people wanted
the new social scheme.

Until that time the so-called iron triangle had
governed Japan, and the way was successful after the
end of the Second World War. The iron triangle are
cooperation of the political world, the business world
and the official world.

This system has come to a deadlock. Why? Maybe there
are many reasons. I think that the reasons are the end
of the Cold War, the enough growth of Japanese economy
and the change of structure of Japanese population.

I think that the end of the Cold War is the most
important, because it was the drastic change of the
world scheme. Prime Minister Koizumi has changed the
system of iron triangle partially. The next prime
minister should make the new system of Japan. Maybe
it will be destruction of iron triangle.
