Thanks mate, but I'm comletely [snowed under] at the moment.

[snowed under] extremely busy
I've got nothing [lined up] for the following weekend though, so maybe we can meet
then?

[lined up] planned/arranged
"Are you [decent]?" means "Can I come in?" or "Are you properly dressed?"

"decent" means proper or respectable.
Like Bobby, I'm a bit [tied up] tomorrow.

[tied up] busy/not free
He was ill so we thought it might [fall through], but it looks as if it's [going ahead].

[fall through] not happen/take place(a plan)
[going ahead] proceed as expected(a plan)
I really can't [get out of] it because it's the old man's 60th birthday and most of the
family will probably be there.

[get out of] avoid doing something
I'm [calling off] the barbecue.

[calling off] cancel
If you want to [wind down], I'll be in The Hart, a pub on King Street.

[wind down] become relaxed
Groria and I are meeting there at about 8.30, as long as nothing else [crops up]!

[crops up] arrive unexpectedly (a duty or problem)
Are you decent ?

Yes, I am. Just naked.

You can't make her pregnant.

Why?

She's tied up.

You should get out of it, but I understand that you've wanted to get in.

I don't think you'd like to share my experiences.
If you do, shame on you !
OK, time to [put my feet up] and take it easy!

[put my feet up] relax (usually at home)
Future Forms Review

[Present Simple] for fixed timetables, schedules and arrangements.
Don't forget it closes at 10.30 on Sundays.

[will] for immediate decisions made at the same time as you speak/write.
I'll call you later.

[will] for something you think, guess or calculate about the future.
Most of the family will probably be there.

[be going to] for a personal intention or arrangement.
We're going to have a barbecue.

[be going to] for predictions you make because of present evidence.
Judging from the grey sky, it's going to rain anyway.

[Present Continuous] for fixed plans or arrangement.
Grolia and I are meeting there at about 8.30.

[Future Continuous] for something that will be in progress during a period of time in
the future.
I'll be working all weekend.

[Future Perfect] for something that will be finished before a time in the future.
Maybe you'll have done your various duties by the end of the evening.
