プリンスの、the Rainbow Childrenという曲なんですが、私には、”his woman”がわからないのです。
何かを象徴してるのでしょうか？
これがわかればざっと訳せそうなんですが。どなたかお知恵拝借。

横から失礼します。この曲は聴いたことがないのですが、
Rainbow ChildrenはThe Wise One(賢者)とその妻(his woman)の
子供たちということではないでしょうか。
（Steveさんのコメントの通りアダムとイブのことでしょう）

そしてRainbow Childrenというは、世界の様々な色の肌の
人々を象徴した呼び方なのだと思います。そしてそれらが
ひとつの国を成している＝つまり地球全体でひとつの国で
あるというメッセージ、そしてその国は太陽のように
光り輝きながら昇りその未来は明るいのだという
メッセージなのではないかと感じました。

気が付かなかったけど、その通りだと思います。

（Rainbow Coalitionなどで検索してみてください。）

ゲイ・レズビアン、etc．の人達もRainbow Flagとかいう旗が好き。
