Film Festival Volunteers Needed
OPEN CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS at

VC FILMFEST 2007:
The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival

May 3rd- 10th, 2007

VC FILMFEST 2007: The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, A Visual
Communications Production, Presented by Honda is the largest event of
its kind in Southern California. During the 8-day event, over 160 films
are screened to more than 16,000 audience members. Volunteers are key
to the Festival's success, and in exchange for your hard work, you will
see some amazing films, meet new friends, and become part of the Visual
Communications family.

We are currently looking for volunteers for:
- Pre-festival organizing (week nights and weekends are available)
including
o Street Team (advertising around your local area)
o Copy editing
o Photo editing
o Video editing
- Opening Night at the Directors Guild of America
- ALL screenings of the festival from May 3rd- 10th, including
o Theater ushers
o Ticket sellers
o Event set up and break down
o And lots more!

Volunteers will receive:
* 2 general screening tickets for selected films in the DGA Theatre 1
or at the Aratani/Japan America Theatre per 4-hour shift (tickets at the
DGA 2 &3, Laemmle Sunset 5 and the National Center for the Preservation
of Democracy are based on availability)
* The chance to meet festival guests, including actors and directors
* The opportunity to learn more about the film industry
* An invitation to the post-festival bash for FilmFest volunteers
* The love and affection of the VC FilmFest Staff!
