I'm Katie, I'm a Japanese woman, though. I'm teaching English to some students at my juku school. You know what juku school means if you live in Japan. It's a kind of cram school where students come after school in order to study for preparing for entrance examinations.
I'm interested in reading books seeing movies and especially in acappella and I'm doing that.
I'm looking forward to talking various things in English. Nice meeting you.
Hi Kate, Where I grew up in the states (New Jersey) we had many accapella groups singing on corners and the steps of our homes. That is a very traditional form of music for us. 14Karat Soul is a very good accapella group that I met here in Tokyo years ago. Boyz to Men are also very good. Do you like them? Anway welcome to the club! And its nice to meet you!
Hi TokyoOG. Thank you for writing. I know Boys to Men.
I haven't been their lives yet, but I have listened to CDs. They are really good. I Haven't heard about 14Karat Soul. I have to check it out and listen to them.
