Hi guys,

My name is Tagu.
I am going to graduate Film school in Florida on November.

future plans I'm thinking is comming back to Japan and find American studio project which locate in Japan for shooting.

or

I stay in US, get Optional Practical Training and work on American studio project which locate in Japan for shooting.

My near goal is I want to help projects that goes to shoot in Japan, as a crew.

I would like to hear people's opinions.
If you are Japanese who works in production company in US, that will be great.

If you know any production that goes to Japan,
please give me informations.

I don't think staying in America is going to get you there. As far as I know, when a American Studio Project goes to another country for location shoot, most if not all the crew lived in that country. Grudge 2 which just finished shooting recently in Japan is an example, as far as I know more than 80% of their crew are Japanese living in Japan. It is typical for a foreign country to require a high percentage number of crews to be locally based in exchange for the film to be shot there.

Yeh, I remember Spiderman3's producrion in Ohio.
There was lots of locul crew were working, and Hollywood crew was minimum. I think shooting in other country especially they will hire locul people.
It makes scense.
