Nice to meet people in this community. My name is Yukio Okuno, living in LA.
Recently, a 3D animation short movie I created is going to be on the screen of the Brooklyn Internatinal Film Festival.
The screening will be June 4th at Brooklyn Musium. The animation short's title is "Robbit". Unfortunately, I could not organize my schedule, so I can not go to backeast.
　　What I would like to ask here, especially people living in backeast is to go the musium to join this film festival and see my "Robbit" and other people's works. I am sure it's gonna be very big fun. And then I will be very happy if you report us about the screening, like how about my movie is or how about the audience's reaction when they saw my movie. Thank you very much.

はじめまして。ロサンゼルス在住のyukioOkunoと申します。よろしくお願いします。

私、実は３分程度のインディペンドの３Dアニメーション映画を製作しまして、それがブルックリンインターナショナルフィルムフェスティバルで
上映されることになりました。
　上映日は６月４日（日）で、ブルックリンミュージアムというところで行われるのですが、残念なのは私のスケジュールの都合がつかず、
ブルックリンに行くことが出来ないのです。
　そこでニューヨーク在住の方にお願いがあるのですが、どうかこの子供たちのためのフィルムフェスティバルの上映を
見に行っていただきたいのです。上映されるのはアマチュアの作品ばかりだと存じますが、楽しい催しになると存じます。
　そして私の映画「Robbit」について、その映画の感想や観衆の反応はどうだったかなど、ご報告いただければ幸いです。よろしくお願いします。

まずは入選おめでとうございます！
自分の作品が上映されるのは嬉しい限りですよね。でもその場にいられないという残念な気持ちは非常にわかります。やはり生の反応を観られるのが作り手として至福の時でもあるし、今後何か作っていく上での大きなモチベーションにも。

お勧めとすればNYのコミュに参加されて上記のように宣伝するのもいいかもしれません。
実際沢山ニューヨークに住まれている方が多いと思いますし。
あとvivinaviのNYで宣伝するのも効果があるかもしれません。

Thank you for the advice. Now, I am writing the same topic for NY community and "ViVinavi".
And I can't believe that I am having the comunication with other filmmakers because I had had no much chance to have them. It is very nice to me.
I would like to see other people's work and meet people someday. Thank you very much.

今ここでこうして他のフィルムメーカーの人とコミュニケーションを持てていることに少し感動してます。あまりそういう機会がなかったものですから。
他のフィルムメーカーの人がどういう作品を作って、どのようなやり方で活動をしているのか、いろいろ情報交換してみたいです。

Hi Yukio,

Thanks for the info on your film and congratulations on your selection! I love and used to study Animation when I was back in Canada and I would love to see your film if there's chance in the future. In the meantime, if you've not done it already, you can also promote it at myspace.com and get people to go to the festival.

Thank you, guys. I very appreciate about it. Unfortunately, I don't know how to show my short on the internnet. I know about 3D animation program, but not well about interactive media.
I am still sending my short for many film festival. If I got good news again, I will tell you, off cource. Thank you again.
みなさんどうもありがとう。感謝感激です。残念ながら自分の短編をどうやってインターネットで見せればいいのかわからないのです。３Ｄは使えるけどインターネットのことはあまりよく知らないもので。
今も自分の短編をフィルムフェスティバルに送り続けています。また何かいい知らせがありましたら報告します。
