Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral position. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates in the areas of bio- or micro- fluid dynamics. The work will require mathematical modeling and simulation for problems such as cardiovascular flow, micro-circulation, fluid-structure interaction, or cell engineering. The position is available immediately and is initially for one year, with additional years contingent on performance and continuation of funding.

Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. The candidates should send curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a summary of research experiences, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation.
