Eric was starting the last year of his degree,
He recently meet a girl who loves him, her name was Marie.
He loved her too, and always says “I’m gonna marry u someday”,
But his whole world would change with what happened one day
Cause little ole Marie had something to say.
She said with tears in her eyes “I love you and always want to be with you”
“But I just found out I’m pregnant and I don’t know what I should do”
Damn young Eric’s a father now
And he aint got a job so he don’t know how
He’s gonna raise a kid and feed a kid
He realises the stupidity of what he did
She asks him again “What should we do”
And he replied “I don’t know what to do”
All he knew was for them abortion was not an option
And for a second there he even contemplated adoption
But he knew that weren’t right, he fucked up
Therefore he’s the one who’ll bring this child up.

Now it’s a few years on and Eric’s got a beautiful son
His name is Shaun, but Eric calls him the great one.
This is because he’s grateful that Shaun was born
And ever since he’s had a child, he’s felt reborn
Like his life has a purpose that it didn’t have before
Cause having to be a father aint something you can ignore.
And Marie, his wife now, is still telling him “I love you”
As she knows he’s done everything he can for them two
Eric has done so much for his family, but education is key
So he decided, as he has enough money, he’s going back to uni
However the same day he made the decision he noticed strange happenings
Marie was eating more, getting bigger and even being sick in the mornings
So he asks her “Hey Marie, what the fuck is going on!”
She replied “Why you asking, you know what’s wrong”
Then he screams “Damn it lord, why it gotta be now”
I guess Eric aint finishing his degree right now.

Well it’s another year on and his second son’s been born
He’s got 3 jobs, weekdays, weekends and even evenings
And he does it all so his family can have so many things
He still wishes he could have carried on his education
Cause maybe then they would live in a better location.
Anyway it’s his anniversary so he got a day off work today
So he can surprise Marie with some chocolate and a big bouquet
But when he got in the door of his home
He realised that Marie was not alone
As he smelt some other guy’s damn cologne
And then he even heard the bitch moan and groan
He picks up his gun and slowly looks through the door
Now he sees that it’s Daniel who’s fucking his girl hardcore
But all he did now was close the bedroom door
And went back down to the ground floor
The gun that’s in his hand he now has pointed at his head
Then before he knows it he’s pulled the trigger and he’s dead.

But then he opens his eyes and he’s in a lecture sleeping in his seat
Marie is sitting next to him, and it seems this is the first time they meet
He realises he can now change his destiny
By choosing, for his life, a different path
But he decides to stay with, his love, Marie
And ends up choosing the same damn path

It’s Sunday and I’m at the court by noon
Called up all the ballers, they should be down soon
I’m down there at least an hour before anyone else
Taking over a hundred free throws all by myself
But once everyone is down, we start a 5 on 5
Even though bare people start to arrive
However they know they cannot compete with us
So there is no need for them to make a fuss
We let everyone ball, as we play winner stays on
But look at our team, see who we got on
Godzilla – he doesn’t move, he stays in one spot
But once he starts to shoot, he may get hot
And on D he’ll scare u into missing ur shot
Cookie Monster – he don’t have his own speciality
But it’s the little things he does that help the team
To me, he’s the best team player I’ve ever seen
Supafly – this boys offensive skills are legendary
And he can make any shot other than a three
It’s a pity he can’t pass the ball to anyone on his team
Ninja – the sly motherfucker is always sneakin’ up
And with his speed, cross u over and leave u fucked up
Too bad he can’t finish the play with a simple lay-up
And TGO – he has to force every shot he seems to take
But he has a tight defence that very few can break
And will always make the shot when the games at stake.
Once u see this team u see why we never lose
And believe me, it’s nothing to do with the shoes
