Allen snubbed from All-Star game

mixiユーザー 2009年02月02日 23:01

I'm writing to express my extreme displeasure that Ray Allen has been left out of this year's All-Star game. Despite shooting 50 percent from the field, including 42 percent from 3-point range, and averaging 18 points for the 40-9 Celtics, Allen wasn't even voted onto the squad as a reserve. Instead, Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, Nelson and Devin Harris of the New Jersey Nets were the guards picked as reserves over Allen. At the start of the year, coaches around the league spoke about 'sacrificing'. However, when it comes to the All-Star game, only players with better stats are considered. Fair? I think not! hypocritical? Yes!

Yeah i also heard that Allen is quite a golfer

Well, i guess it's a good opportunity to rest. We need him to be healthy for the rest of the season.
