ロンドン在住の日本人の皆様

Ｍ９の大地震が東北地方を襲い、たくさんの方々が命を落とされ、家や職場を失い、多くの方たちの生活に多大な支障をきたしています。

ロンドンに在住の方々におかれましては、このような大災害の折、なにもできずに歯がゆい思いをされている方も多いと思います。

我々ロンドン在住日本人として、少しでも被災者の方々のお役に立ちたいという思いから、チャリティーイベントを開催することになりました。

ただ募金をお願いするというのではなく、私たちの気持ちをかっていただくという形にするため、なるべく沢山の現地の方に会場を訪れてもらい、私たちの作ったものを購入していただいた売り上げを寄付するという形をとりたいと思っております。尚、皆さんのご厚意はBritish Red Crossに全額寄付させていただくことになっております。

Dear friends,

M9.0 earthquake, the seventh largest recorded in history, struck the east coast of Japan on Friday 11 March, followed by 10 metres of Tsunami. The death toll is now feared to exceed 10,000. Thousands of people are still missing and hundreds of thousands have been made homeless. There are limited supply of food, water and power in the affected area. And the nuclear issues.....

We, as Japanese living in London, are feeling deepest sympathy for those who suffer in Japan and decided to host a charity event to aid their recovery.

You can enjoy fresh home cooking prepared by Japanese volunteers, accompanied by live Jazz music concert. You will also have an opportunity to purchase scrumptious sweets and goods from the stall.

All the funds raised in this charity will be donated to Japan Tsunami Appeal at British Red Cross.
