Hi,
As many of you know, Prof Clammer is suspended from school unfortunately and he can't even come to school. And he asks you a favaor about the guest speaker he was going to have.

The name of the guest speaker is Dr. Arthur Costa and he will talk about "Habits of the Mind" from 13:30 to 15:00 on Tuesday 12th at 10-310(10th building).
So, if any of you or your friends are interested in, please come and attend this lecture.

It was something like his ex-secretary went insane and told the office a bullshit accusation like she was sexually harassed by Prof. Clammer. Ain't it ?

Prof. Clammer I knew would never do a terrible thing like that. I hope it's some kindda mistake.

Woops, was it a student TA ? It sounds more right.

Im not 100% sure whether it is true or not.

I think it said a student TA, who was dismissed as she wasn't considered suitable or something. And she was supposedly mentally unstable. She was furious when she saw Mr Clammer with the new TA an made a fuss, refused to leave the room, so Mr Clammer forced her out of the room, and the girl went to Murase to say she was sexually harassed.

I've no idea how true this is, but this was what was written in the already deleted message... I sure would like to believe he didn't do anything wrong.

Since no one knows for sure, I think he was suspended for always saying SHIBOYA instead of Shibuya.. Am I the only one who noticed that?

if its true, there can be no words that legitimize his violant behaviour like what you had witnessed.　
but on the other hand, there must be a really really good reason that drove him pissed shit crazy like that.

I am a friend of the girl (TA) who was in Prof. Clammer's office when this lady came into his office and started yelling at him. What 28 guy said above is not based on facts. Maybe it was his interpretation of this incident as he was admitting himself that he did not witness what had happned before she came into Prof. Murase's office.

28の方もご自分で認めていらっしゃる通り、その前に何が起きたかということが書かれていないのと、28の方が書かれた内容に、事実に基づいていない部分があるため、この誤認が広まる前に、事前に何が起きたか、また学部側の処分が不当である点について書きたいと思います。

　28の方は、女性の頭を先生が壁にぶつけていた、と書いていますが、それは紛れもない嘘です。(28の方には、他の目撃者を通じて、コメントの訂正をお願いしました)

　この女性は、元々自分が先生のＴＡになりたいと希望していましたが、非常に情緒不安定的な面があり、ＴＡとしてふさわしくないという学部側の判断で、ＴＡになることができなかったそうです。（以前からこの方の言動に問題があったことは、他の教職員の方なども見て知っているはずです）
　そこで、代わりの人（私の友人）がヘルパーとして先生のクラスを助けることになったのですが、そのことを逆恨みしたこの女性が、11月28日の夕方に、先生のオフィスに行き、たまたまそこに居合わせた現ＴＡと先生に詰め寄り、奇声を発したり暴力的な態度を取って暴れたそうです。先生は身の危険を感じて、彼女に部屋から出て行くよう諭しましたが、彼女は先生の部屋のドアの前に自ら立ちふさがって、一向に出て行こうとしなかったので、彼女を外に出すために先生は彼女を引っ張っていこうとしましたが、彼女が戸を背に激しく抵抗したため、おそらくドアに体がぶつかる音が外に聞こえ、28の人は先生が殴っていたと思ったのかもしれません。　（私の友人はこのときのこの女性の常軌を逸した行動と、言葉による暴力で非常に大きな恐怖を感じたそうです。）

　やっと先生が彼女を廊下に出した後、先生は彼女をエレベーターに引っ張って行ったそうですが、一度も殴ったり、暴力をふるってはいないとのことです。それを、この女性が村瀬先生の部屋に入ってかぎを閉め、28の人や村瀬先生にありもしない暴力を語ったようですが、（この方に虚言癖があることは他の教職員も以前に見て知っているはずで＝だから採用されなかったわけですが＝精神鑑定をすればこの方に問題があったことはすぐ判明するはず）今回、先生が暴力をふるっていないことは間違いありません。　この証言は上智大学の学事部の方でも聞かれているようです。

　ただ今回、先生が停職処分になっている表向きの理由はこの「暴力事件」ですが、恐らく学部側が本当に先生を辞めさせたい理由はこれではないと思います。（それは私も教授たちに事情を聞いていないのでなんだか分かりませんが・・・）もともと先生を煙たく思っていた学部が、今回の彼女のでたらめの証言を採用したに過ぎないようです。

　裁判を起こせば、先生は勝てる内容だと思います。

　今まで、先生の処分の状況に差しさわりがあるかと思い、このスレッドに書き込みを控えてきましたが、こういう状況のようです。

　いずれにせよ、学生側に何の説明もなく突然担当教授が変わったのは学生の権利を侵害していると思います。　クラマー先生の授業だから、と思って履修を決めた人もいるでしょうし。

　今回の件での学部の対応には非常に失望しました。

追記：28で、クラマー先生が村瀬先生の部屋のドアを叩いていた件ですが、この女性を建物の外に出すべきだと判断したため、村瀬先生の名前を呼びながらドアを叩いたとのこと。

　30で、「先生がおさまるまで2時間も待たなければならなかった」とありますが、これも誇張、及び事実に基づいていません。もしかして、この方達は村瀬先生の部屋に2時間いたかもしれませんが、これは先生が部屋の前に2時間もいたということではありません。先生がその後わりとすぐにその場所を離れていることは、目撃証言があります。

and did you see this happen first hand? or did you hear this from your "友人"? who knows if your post is biased.

like you said right there, none of the above posts are based on hard facts. Not saying you're telling us a lie, but theres always two sides to the coin.

and if the Dean said feel free to ask Professor Clammer himself, someone go ask him, and post it up here. "I heard" opinions just going to cause more drama than we need. Deleting this thread all-together might be even better.

Just my 2cents.
