- Excellent use of the sunshine. Love the use of the periodic table. Won’t the dichroic glass quickly get dirty?
- I like to look through plexi-glass.
- Wow. This is GREAT! It encourages investigation in a beautiful manner.
- Relates to change in environment, gives us a fun reminder of how delightful & beneficial change can be.
- I think it is wonderful to provide a way for children to see the view. This Tanaka design lets children know that their point of view is important and is facilitated by the architect.
- Love the use of moving sunlight & color plus the optical glass windows.
- My favorite is Tanaka’s work because it’s bright and will change depending on lights outside-beautiful.
- I think Tanaka’s optical streams would engage children’s attention and provide more that a single visual experience!
- The periodic table doesn’t feel right for a children’s area. Perhaps if she just used letters and numerals instead of the periodic symbols.
- Like Tanaka the best.
- Love the tie ins/relations to Lafayette creeks and glens. Periodical table; can see kids exploring all the items and having fun.
- Prefer the Tanaka presentation. Suggest it have an added design element-the chemical model of Sg from the Topher Delaney presentation with a salutatory plaque honoring Glen Seaborg.
- I like Tanaka part 1. Incorporate Tanaka [part 1] in an adult area.
- Liked the idea of the colored discs but doubt that they will show up as colored discs on the deck unless their are some kind of lenses to direct the light.
