English Journal Project -DiaryコミュのMy study part 3

Today, I’ll write about my study.
I want to join an internship of Google
in summer season for 2 or 3 month.
therefore I should submit an essay about most difficult project
which I have had.
I think that our recent project is proper for that.
That project is still continuing and it will be long one.
However, problems included in that project are
really interesting and not very easy to solve
by historically or ordinary way.

My teacher is very brave and started
to solve scheduling problems in real companies
instead of getting money
in compensation for his contribution these days.
But the problems from real world
are very difficult and huge, indeed.
Our recent project is
constructing a practical product scheduling system
for one company
which produces many kinds of assemblies by die casting.
In this case,
the scheduling problems are not friendly
with my teacher’s scheduling logic
which he made before.
In addition, it takes too much time
to calculate a practical answer.
Therefore we need to develop a new scheduling logic
and also advance my professor’s theory.

Now I am developing a theory
and writing a computer program
which is able to solve a product scheduling problem
of our recent project.
However my idea is different with my teacher’s one,
I should follow and test his idea, anyway.
So I am developing and testing my logic
little by little.
But I am sure that my ideas are right
and I can have an answer.
I decided to complete a computer program
which has an optimization engine of my idea
by end of April.
And then I'll persuade my teacher
and write about it in Google’s essay.
