The writer of an apology must first be clear about his own attitude. Is he entirely wrong in the dispute? If so, he must write a straight apology and must not try to use the form of the apology for quite a different kind of letter. If the writer feels he is only partly in the wrong, he can still apologize, while mentioning, by way of explanation or excuse, the points in his favor. It is also important to appear completely sincere in this type of letter, and in English, simplicity is more likely to have this effect than effusive protestations or exaggerated self-criticism.
"I'm thinking ..." の繋がりで "I can not go back now."

If you are the ●●-●●●(←私の名前が書いてありました) who used to work in Japanese TV production in NY and now living in Hawaii, hello. You probably don't remember me but I am the other Junko (Tsunashima) that was a coordinator and worked for Alternate Current. Strange as it may sound your name came up in two conversations recently, one with Maura Kelly who was interviewing with us for a position at American Masters (channel 13, public TV station where I now work) and K. Suzuki at Fuji Sankei who said your name was mentioned when Naoko (Doi) Banno was visiting recently. I too actually live part of the time in Oahu... Strange conincidence.
Hope you are well.
