英国開発学勉強会(IDDP)-開発関連イベント・ピックアップ
【2011年5月3日-5月15日号】
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
先日のロイヤルウェディングは、日本でも生中継されたそうです。 明るい話題に心和む一方で、
日本では未だ困難な状況が続き、またリビアからはカダフィ大佐の息子の殺害、そしてパキスタンでは
オサマ・ビンラディンが殺害されたというニュースが飛び込んできました。 まだ3分の1が過ぎただけの2011年ですが、
世界各地で起きていることの生々しさに圧倒されるような気持ちになります。 その反面、大きなニュースに押し流される形で、
世界の貧困やコートジボワールの現状といった、「古い」あるいはショッキングでない事件への関心は日々薄れていきます。
試験にエッセイに、学生のとっては大変な季節ですが、ここで紹介する様々なイベントが、
皆さんが世界に対する多様な関心を持ち続ける助けになることを願っています（小林）
