Hi everyone! I'm Hiroko. I'm from Kurume. After I graduated from high school, I went to Hawaii to study English at college and lived there for over 3 years. (Also I learned French.) I like any kind of crafts, playing the piano, watching movies, meeting new people, eating, anything that's fun! I hope a lot of people will join this circle and I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the near future!

Hello! My name is John Shiomi. I am a Japanese-American who has been living in Yame-shi for 13 years. My first 3 years I worked as an ALT in Yame-shi at 4 junior high schools. After that I started my English school teaching kids and adults. But my real passion is teaching personal development and spirituality. My hobbies are playing basketball, reading books, taking walks, traveling, watching movies and American TV dramas (currently I love "Lie to Me"), and meeting and getting to know new people. It's nice to meet you guys!
I'm just back from San Francisco to Kurume last week...and started to explore Mixi (not Facebook :P) to find out my buddies...I've spent my last 10 yrs in North California...Yes, I know it's always good to join US-Japanese community and I've been part of it...
