Bayer Leverkusen boss Sami Hyypia insists he is no rush to sign an extension to his current contract.
The former Liverpool defender, whose deal runs until June 2015, has guided Leverkusen to second in the Bundesliga table, seven points adrift or runaway leaders Bayern Munich.
The BayArena side's form in the opening 17 games led to suggestions from general manager Rudi Voller that they would like to agree a new deal with the former Finland international.
Leverkusen are also through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain, having finished as runners up to Manchester United in Group A.
Despite the suggestion of fresh terms being available, Hyypia is only focusing on the current campaign and is keen for his side to build on their solid start.
He said: "I am not even thinking about next season. It's a fast moving business, we know that.
