Japanese Artists in NYコミュの＊アーティスト募集＊　「スクエア展」

NYのLong Island Cityに位置する、PS1 MoMaから１ブロックのアートギャラリー、Space Womb(www.spacewomb.com)は現在、「スクエア展」に出展する作品を募集しております。

Application Guide:

- Application deadline: July 1 (Thu), 2010.

- Application Fee: Each artist can exhibit up to 5 pieces for $100.

*This will go towards design and print fee of exhibition flyers and ads, wine for the opening reception, etc.

- Size / Medium: Every piece must be on a 8” x 8” (3/4” thickness) canvas / board. *You can find the canvas at most art stores. Any medium is accepted as long as it fits the size requirement.

- Price of each piece is up to the artist. (*20% of all sales will be the gallery commission.)

- Artists must drop off their work at the gallery between July 14 (Wed) ~ July 28 (Wed), 2010, and pick up their work after the exhibition on August 11 (Wed) or August 12 (Thurs), 2010. They can ship their work to the gallery, but the gallery will not be responsible for the return shipment. The gallery will not be responsible if your work do not arrive to the gallery by the above set date, and the application fee will not be refunded.

- To apply, please send up to 3 examples of your artwork as well as your artist biography to SQ.spacewomb@gmail.com. The gallery staff will review your work, and only artists who are accepted are allowed to participate in the exhibition. (*The application fee is requested only if your work is accepted.)
