I see we have some new members recently, so don't be shy...hahaha Everyone is really friendly here and we can talk about anything (but we will not talk about nattou...>,<)
I was talking recently about how American people and Japanese people hear animal sounds differently. For example:
Cats:
Dogs:
Frogs:
Sheep:
Pigs:
Duck:
I am sure there are many others also!!
Maybe it's a silly topic but, I am really interested in it!! ^_^ Do you think Japanese animals can talk with english speaking animals?? I want to introduce my cats to some Japanese speaking animals to test it....hehehe
It is also an interesting cultural thing that people hear things so differently!! Why do you think it is??
Yes, dogs are really smart!! Actually my cats too. When I feed the cats in the morning, one of them runs 1 circle around my couch, and then goes to his food bowl. I don't know why...haha
It is just his custom. ^_^
Did I have the pig sound wrong?? ^_^
Ahhh..you are such a good teacher to me.
Actually, one of my friend's has a pig at his house!! Have you seen a pig before?? They are really really cute!!
I wonder about other languages. Probably they all have different sounds also right?
That's a fun topic!!
One day I had a party and there are many people who are from different country. And we talked about this topic.
I do not remember what they sounded like, but I'm sure their sounds are differnt from Japanese animal's sound. It was so interesting and fun. I think I should ask my international friends about this again.
