Yesterday in the US was Thanksgiving holiday. Maybe those of you who have lived in the US know this right?
On that day, we usually cook a big turkey, spend time with friends and family, and be thankful for all the good things we have in our life. I think it is my favorite holiday, because it is the only holiday where shopping and gifts are not necessary. Just we show our appreciation for the people who are important to us.
Does anyone have any thoughts about thanksgiving they want to share?
Thanksgiving Day is quite famous in Taiwan.
I think everyone knows about that day, just we don't celebrate.
But I really wanna try a turkey.
I think it might taste good.
I tried some emus before when I was in Brisbane.
It wasn't so good.
Haha~
Yeah, I really think so too!
Thanksgiving is maybe the only holiday whose meaning is not about presents or shopping. It is just a time for the people we love.
It's such a nice thought. ^^
Chloe,
Emus?!?! Awww...Emus are so cute, I can't eat them. ^_^
Anyway, turkeys are really delicious!
You have to try that someday when you come to the US...haha
