Washoku is a traditional Japanese cuisine using boiled rice, fresh fish, shellfish and vegetables with soy souse and miso soup. Washoku literally means "the harmony of food," and it embodies an attitude and the practical cooking techniques in preparing food that provides both nutritional balance and aesthetic sense.
Sushi, Tempura, Sashimi, Sukiyaki are the popular wasyoku among foreign tourists. For the people who are in interested in keeping the body in shape and healthy, wasyoku is regarded as well-balanced healthy food because of low calorie.
As a matter of fact, it is being consumed as a diet food throughout the world these days.
It was listed as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013. UNESCO acknowledged Wasyoku as incomparable cook such as French, Mediterranean, Turkish and Mexican cuisine.
この作文のキーワードは"the harmony of food,"。
