I installed a security system in my home. The system is composed of sensors and a control box. If someone intrudes through the door, sensors catch an usual signal and the box will sound the alarm. After the setting up of the
equipment, I was told how to use it. That night I turned on it. But my wife had opened the back door. The box said, "someone comes into" I must stop the alarm. In a panic, I touched the upper side of panel. Oh! It was an emergency call button. This machine hates me.

Cheese tempts me

I love cheese. I love the smell of it. There are many types of cheese. Some of them are very expensive. But, St. Andre, White Castello, Brie have a reasonable price and a good taste. You choose some wines (even low price). And put the cheese on the cracker. If you find the best matching of cheese and wine, your supper turns to a royal feast.
The mystery of 22

I went to a Yakiniku restaurant with my family. I parked at the neighborhood parking. As we left the car, my daughter said, "Dad, where is 22?". I stared at the ground. The number next to 21 is 23! It wasn't on the opposite side. Mistake? Is 22 an unlucky number? I've never heard a story like it. Does anyone know why?
Winter is back

Yesterday I was walking and it was snowing hard. Where is the spring. But, I know that it will be warm after a few days. A Japanese proverb says four times warm come after three times cold. I guess the season comes gradually and the previous season disappears without notice. I forget how cold a winter is. And complain about the summer.
My first experience
I went to a skin disease doctor to have an exam of my tumor on my calf. At first, I got a local anesthesia. They cut my skin and took a little piece of it. I had no pain. It took a few minutes and I kept normal blood pressure. But I don't really want to go again. The atmosphere of the treatment room gets on my nerves.
I like paint job

I changed some rooms of my office around. The carpenters repaired the floor carpet and painted the wall. I wanted to add some colors to it. But, I don't have much experience painting walls. So, I used 3M DI-NOC film. It's a very convenient material. It has various colors and you just put it on the wall like stickers. You can even fit it into the complex plane with heat.
The new style bread

There is a bakery shop near the Nishinomiya library. The French chef produced a lot of unique breads. The shop has cozy terrace seats. One day, I had a lunch there. The chef talked with his friend in French. They were deep in conversation about something. I heard a word "Takoyaki" certainly among them. I hope he would make a new style bread "Takoyaki in the baguette "!?
"Sigo" in English
I always read a blog. It says that when you use the words "in the pink" you show you are pretty old. It offers "The Fifth Beatle", "Yassir Arafat" and "Do the hustle", too. Of course, I know these. They might cause a generation gap. Even in Japan, if you say "ikasu avec" in Japanese, young people will surely have no idea what you're talking about.
Chinese Restaurant has a smile
I went to a Chinese restaurant in Sannomoya. It served nice food and the stuff gave a bright smile. Are they adopting a Japanese style? I recognize Chinese people don't smile in public. Because they live in the tough world out of their country with their own way. The time has changed.

My Room
My room is small. But, I like it because of its smallness. I really don’t want anything except some comics and books. One day, I bought a rug. It made my room cozy and warm. Sometimes the family gathers in it. I don’t care about my privacy.

Paper Town
写真

Agloe is a fictional town in Delaware County, New York. It was made for by the map maker to be a copyright trap. People started the rumors that they've been there or they got a T-shirt in that town. It's very interesting. But, if I was lost in the U.S. when I was driving, I would be scared to find this town.
English Haiku
The traditional Japanese Haiku has three lines pattern with 5,7,5 syllables. But, English Haiku has bit different rules. You don't have to be so strict. I think that its rhythm and the word that describe the season is important.

Autumn morning time

Walk 、walk and walk

And sip a nice cup
Book-off is one of my favorite shops. You can buy a book for a low price there. I found an interesting book while I was there. It's a history novel called "Elizabeth". Elizabeth was the Queen of England and Ireland during the 16th century. I don't know who she was or the accurate affairs in which she was part of , but I was able to easily find information on William Shakespeare, the defeats of the Spanish Armada, and pirates of Caribbean during her era.
I like walking around strange places. On holiday, I went to the Iwasimizu Hatiman shrine. It was on the top of a hill. I walked about an hour and a half. It was a hot day. I needed to take a rest from the long walk so I stopped by a Japanese traditional style cafe that sold some sweets and tea. The Kuzumoti sweets were nice. It had no flavor but I enjoyed the texture of it when it touches the top of my mouth.
It has been hot all week. During the day, I would always stay inside in a room with moderate temperature. But at night when I go to bed, I turn off the air conditioner. I love to feel the breeze from the window. As I grow older, my feelings toward the temperature has changed.
How many people are playing Pokemon Go in the Shukugawa area? Usually, there are a few passers who would pass by the neighborhood of my house. But recently, because Takatuka Park is a Pokestop, I see various people walking around there more often now. I saw two old ladies who were wondering where they should go with their Ipad in hand. Another time, I saw a sports car stopped as the driver dushed out immediately to collect pokeballs. I might have to tell them to be careful not to get into any accidents.
As you grow older, you can begin to see some difficulties in your body. Missswallowing is one of these. It can cause some serious ploblems on your health. Do you dare to take the swallowing test? First, touch your throat with your fingers, checking its movement. Count how many times you can swallow your saliva within 30 seconds. If your score is less than three, you should have it checked out at the dentistry.
S.O.A.P.is an acronym for writing clinical records.

subject: chief complaint that a patient has
object: describes an area of abnormal tissue
assessment: a guess of the cause
plan: how to care

This wrighting form fits me for many reasons. It allows me to concentrate to better assist the condition of the patient and as well as to help keep my ideas of the treatment in order.
I would sometimes read a blog from a Japanese woman who lives in Scotland. She once wrote a blog on how to boil an egg in Scotland. She learned in school that she should put an egg in the water and heat it. She thought at first that it was important not to crack the egg. But her husband and her mother-in-law would put it straight in the boiling hot water without cracking it first. I don't know which is right. She also mentioned how to eat cereal. She mentioned how some Spanish-speaking people eat cereal with tomato juice. I don't think I would be able to do what they do.
The Coldplay song, “Viva La Viva” is great but it is difficult for me as a Japanese speaker to understand properly.

The lyrics contain the words, “pillar of salt” and “Roman cavalry choirs “; I presume that those are based on Biblical phrases.
Japanese people tend not to know much about Christianity.
I‘ve recently learned the meaning of “Writing on the wall”.
I think I am going to study the Bible a bit more.
I love "Manga"!

Japanese comics have made a great, but somewhat curious progression through almost 100 years.

Those have not only elaborate drawings but also a broad knowledge of history.

One of my favorites is "7 Shakespeare NON SANZ DROICT."

Until I read that, I didn't know much about William Shakespeare.

I'd never been to a theatre to see any of his plays, although I knew a famous Shakespearean phrase "To be, or not to be ".

After I read the comic, I found I liked "Scottish play " that contains these words,

"Double, double

toil and trouble".
