Jeez, my hands are shaking because I've been away from poker for way too long. Even if I had the internet connection at home, it wouldn't be feasible to play online poker because it's just unforgivably slow!!
I've come to realize that I won't be able to live in a place where the internet is slow. Can't wait till I get back to civilizations. I always need the high-speed connection for poker, stock, whatsoever!!
wow, great job!! yes, i've gone about the half way though, which means there's another half to go... man, I really really really really wanna play.....just one game.....please....
Oh, yeah, Alex is a good player. He's good at bluffing as well. Derek is hard to beat when he plays really aggressively. He bets really big, even with a hand like A/3, K/10, 7/7. It's hard to read him at times.
Is Jie still doing well? Well, I see him as a decent player. But, I bet you and tak have also been improving your skills a lot, whereas I've even been forgetting the rules.
All I can say now is, I'm painfully envious of you guys.
hey whats up. how r things? sorry u cant be w/ us to play poker. me and tomoka have been doing ok recently at the tables. she plays mostly cash games and i play mostly tournaments, but also cash games too, to broaden my game. we have been getting pretty consistent.
most of the times i get so upset cuz i get outdrawn to weaker hands and lose money. but i just keep trying to believe in my style cuz it was the right call, they just outdrew me that time. but it seems that i get outdrawn by weaker hands w/ greater frequency than what the probability says. haha. the thing i learned is that anyone can win w/ good hands. but to win consistently, u have to win not only w/ good hands, but win w/ hands that u r not supposed to win with. meaning- u have to use timely bluffs and make gutsy calls.
man, i cant wait for all of us to play again,
I a lot of times get the exact same feeling as yours: shit happnes much more than the computer-calculated probablity tells us, especially online. I don't know why but it feels like it.
I've just got an email from Derek telling me about the poker weekly poker night happening at his place. Jeez, what the hell am I doing here?? Where's my hand? Who is it on now? I'll reraise you.
Hey, Hige.I have same feeling of withdrawal symptoms as you have ma~n.
my GOD hands're shaking everyday
That's fuckin'bull shit!!
Where's my hand???I'll rereraise you,Hige~~!and I'm gonna beat you guys!!
you guys already forgot about me?!!

all right!?
hahaha. man, u guys r missing out on some good poker. we meet almost every saturday at dereks to play. jie usually brings over some of his friends, which is good, cuz i like to play different people.
last nite, opb was representin! it was me, jie, and tomoka at the final 3. and then i lost to jie on the heads up. jie called my all in bluff after the flop. he had made a middle pair w/ 8s. i had made a preflop raise w/ A high, and with a flop of J84, i went all in.
i didnt think he could call unless he had top pair, but he made a great call w/ middle pair.
i really like playing w/ jie. he makes great calculated calls, but alot of times, i think he overplays his hand and calls when he should lay it down.
nevertheless, i have alot of respect for his play and i think he is a very good player.
derek's been getting very good too. i used to be able to bluff him out, but now, i need to becareful. he is a sound player.
if your hands r shaking now from not playing poker, when u get back, your hands will be shaking from fear of playing w/ us!!
HAHAHAHA.
IM ALL IN BABY!!
Damn............
Such harsh comments, guys.
I've read some books on poker and got some insights about how I should play from next time. Reading books was pretty helpful because they made me realize what kept me from winning more constantly.
Anyhow, you guys should go on enjoying the highlight of your poker lives until I come back, hehehe.

Wow-----, so you made more than $400 that night!! Man, $300 buy-in?? How crazy is that? But I'm sure it was insanely exciting!! Damn, I need to play with them once I'm back in Orlando. It seems quite risky but I have to give it a shot.
I suppose you've been making a lot of progress in your poker play. Yup, practice makes perfect. On the other hand, I just sit there finding myself getting so blunt in poker. Jeez, how could that happen to me?
By the way, I'll come back to Orlando on April 16th to destroy all the poker players there.
It sounds like it will work for you, Chagi, entering the US as a traveler without your I-20. Good luck with that. And in April, our OPB members will get together and play again!!
hahaha, that's pretty funny and i can easily imagine you being drunk and laughing and playing well (^o^). i recently play poker in my head quite often right before i fall asleep in the bed at night. i raise people aggressively and push them around and all that stuff......in my head.....
