Nice response ;)
I want to ask why, too.
Anyway, my name, 'Naoko' is written in Kanji this way. 菜穂子
It means 'Vegetables', 'ear of rice', and 'child'.
When I was child, I asked to my mother why my name is 'Naoko'.
She said, 'you can always have something enough to eat'.
I shocked with her word at the time, because it's not means like
'beautiful' or 'wise' or something. But now, my name is very nice, I think. :)
My son is too young for give me some present.
But I was gave a card with flower made of paper from staff of baby's play room.
(I go to there with my son almost every day.)

I'm happy hear that your husband could come back home from the hospital!
And you are so kind woman that your husband is happy.
Recantly I met mothers who are raising a baby have been studying English.
So my friend and I are planning meeting to study Engish with a baby.
Australian my friend might join in us.
Sometimes we can join in English school or group activities in English for baby.
But mother having a baby can't go to shcool for herself.
I have to decide schedule, place, system, and so on.
I looking forward to studying with them.
I think it is importance that I should often use English even if I have a lot of mistake!
