well, i am becoming fat... i think i should not go to a pub for beers that often, last night, i went there, and last week, i did too. every time i have more than five pints of beers ... i dont eat though. oh, i would go to a ramen place after that, which means i eat..

then i will be a fat man..

how do you call a fat guy ? a big?

Hey, look at the big lady holding a bottle of diet coke !

I actually saw big Americans drinking diet coke a lot.. yeah they are watching their weight, but still drinking coke .. drink water instead, guys !!! (or beers)

Here is a saying ( i just made up)

"People can be on a diet drinking a bottle of diet coke"
which means "it doesn't really work."

I recently learned a word "obese." I suppose it's not a colloquial word. Probably it sounds medical and implies some kinds of illness. One who is "obese" may be liable to lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, cardiac disease, etc, etc.

obese: very fat, in a way that is not healthy. (病的に)肥満

oh, yeah. I am not obese !!!

liable: legally responsible for paying the cost of something.

oh, difficult words.. are you a doctor or a medical student, or a cat??

Perhaps I should replace the word "liable to" to "likely to be" in conversations.
