I want to be a good English speaker, but I don't have enough knowledge such as vocabulary and English grammar.
So, I plan to improve my English skills through TOEIC/TOEFL.
It isn't determinate because I will participate to contest of digital circuit design in current year.
But I will take an examination of TOEIC in spring of next year.
This is Norbi. While I feel quite comfortable speaking English, I'm not a native speaker so there's always some room for improvement. Meanwhile I hope I can practice some Japanese and get feedback from you guys.
I can also give you some help for learning English. Here's a start: while I think TOEIC/TOEFL are useful for getting future jobs and getting into graduate school, they are a bit "artificial". To be fluent, you should spend time on listening to real English, by watching movies (with English subtitles), listening to music (look up the lyrics), and generally surrounding yourself with all kinds of English/American media (games, books, comics, newspapers, websites, etc.) that you like and enjoy. Your listening skills and vocabulary will improve greatly while still having fun!
Also check the message about iKnow, I posted earlier, as another fun way of learning English.
