語学学校に通ったけど、コミュニケーションを取るのが未だに苦手という話を良く聞きます。

先生は、実際に日本でALTとしての経験があり、日本人独特のコミュニケーションのくせなどとてもご存知です。トロントでは言語学、歴史学の学位をお持ちの先生で、実際にフランス語、スペイン語、アラビア語、ラテン語を大学で勉強された他、ご自身で日本語も勉強されています。先生の経験から今英語を学ばれているみなさんの修学状況を把握し、どのようなアプローチが効果的なのか教えてくれます。
先生は新たな言語を学ぶ上で成功の鍵となるのは、自信を持ってコミュニケーションを取っていくことだとお考えです。小さな間違いをしてしまうことを不安に思って話す機会を自ら失い、日本に帰国する際にはあまり英語を学べなかったなと感じることのないように、語学の専門家によるアプローチ方法で一緒に英語を習得してみませんか？
Hello! Do you need to improve your English? Great! Let me help! My goal is to improve your English communication skills.
In total, I have six years of experience teaching English, including two years teaching in Japan at two senior high schools. Thus, I am aware of the particular difficulties Japanese students have when learning English.
I have a degree from the University of Toronto (Linguistics and History). In addition to Japanese, I have formally studied other languages, such as French, Spanish, Arabic and Latin. I am well-read and I also have a strong interest in Japanese culture and history.
My approach to language learning is unique in that I emphasise communication over grammatical correctness. I firmly believe that the most important goal of language is to communicate and that if the other person can understand what you want to say, then you are successful. Knowing the details of grammatical rules is good but speaking with confidence is much more important.
My focus is on spoken English but I am also fully qualified to help with written English. I can help you with homework, essays, cover letters and more. I offer you what you will not find in ESL classes, textbooks and school courses. If you are truly passionate about learning English, give me a call.
