DE SOT BAR NOZAKI.

When I take a day off, I alwas enjoy cold pasta with Genoveze paste and white wine for my brunch.
I believe NOZAKI's Genoveze is the best in Tokyo.

ah.... this is a good thread- i always have a problem to find a good place to eat that isnt too expensive.

Roppongi Area- is a bit of a challenge....

Thai: Erawan in ROI building ($$$) (菜菜)
Texmex: Havana Cafe ($$) (煙煙） (菜菜)- recommend Chicken or Beef Fajita
California: Vinoteca in Midtown ($$$$) (菜) (煙） - good place to take girl- but need reservation. - if with girl make sure to get seat with view of window facing outside.
Japanese: Wako Kobo ($$) (菜) - recommend kokusan hirekatsu set

Also there is three food resturants near Roppongi area (but not in Roppongi) that i like....

Near Roppongi:

Spanish: Spanish resturant down the hill from Midtown in Akasaka ($$$) (煙） (菜)
American: Hawaiian Hamburger Place in Omotesando ($) (菜菜)
Organic: some organic resturant near Azabu-juuban station ($$) (菜菜)

Above I give rating for Cost ($), Smoke-factor (煙), and diverse vegetables factor (菜)

I think NOZAKI's is pasta rather than Japanese fashion 'sphagetti'. Nozaki's Genoveze paste is cheese rich!
I think MAC is a good place to visit midnight. Why they don't think about night charge...?

Ron san,
NOZAKI's lunch is not so expensive, 1,000 yen (without wine).
I lived nearby David's Deli few years before. Do you know they have a bakery on the rooftop ?? I love David's bagle and cakes.

Uniko-san,
yes i know about David's Deli bakery. actually the owner of David's Deli owns the whole building so i heard from the 店長 about the bakery on the 5th floor- actually many people coming in for the cakes... my favorite menu there is:
(1) Tabouli Salad
(2) Vegetable Soup
(3) Stuffed Vine Leaves
above 3 cost you about 2900 yen.... a bit expensive but tastes so good.

Thanks for information on NOZAKIs.... Igura Katamachi is fairly convenient.... and has some kind of outdoor seating... ill have to check it out. 1000yen is a reasonable price.

特に困るのは、Sometimes I go to the gym and finish real late (like 11PM).. Then im real hungry- but where to go to eat? At that time, the only place i know open where i can eat good food fairly quickly is Sushiko at Roppongi Crossing. of course i could go to the Udon place or Havana cafe but takes a little more time. 何か他に選択肢あれば嬉しくなるね。 It would be great if i could find a place open late that serves さっぱり系 foods late fairly quickly at a reasonable price.

I think チェゴヤ(Korean Restaurant) is a good place to eat さっぱり系 foods quickly. They are open till 3AM(maybe...4AM?) and serve healthy foods.チェゴヤ is next to ROI-building, 2F of Subway sandwitch.
I love チェゴヤ's ユッケジャンクッパ(rice with spicy Korean soup).

Talking about foods is really fun!

I've heard that つるとんたん Roppongi is produced by Mari Natsuki, my favorite acctress. So interesting...

and thanks for the Korean resturant info- ill check that one out too.

by the way, today i found new resturant in Roppongi near igura-katamatchi called suji- run by Korean people but its American food. I will investigate about their dinner/nighttime menu. However, i can recommend their breakfast (if u like American breakfast)

エッグス・ベネディクトが好きなんですが、SUZIはマフィンがトーストなのがちょっと…ご近所なので次回は別のものを食べてみます～～

The best エッグス・ベネディクト in Roppongi for me is PAUL's(in Roppongi-Ichome sta.). I so much love Paul's breads and cakes...

What a hell！
I mean an air. I feel just one step out from the airport in Hong Kong. You know such air.
A tour guide flew the flag by Don Quixote who had taken foreigners along.who care the day of such air.
You know a big fish in an aquarium? I put his name Gonzalez.

He got a new friend triangular form　guy.
I think probably his old man is the angelfish.

not a restaurant... bakery Pompadour Roppongi.

Pompadour's raisin cream sandwich is so nice. I think that's better than the one in 小川軒(is famous for raisin cream sandwich ).

山嵐 ramen in Roppongi 3-chome.
山嵐's su-ra-tan-men(ramen with sour and spicy soup) is my recommend. When I catch a cold, I eat this and go to bed immediately.I always feel fine next morning.
Nice season for eating ramen comes!

if ramen is your thing, 一風堂 's 白丸 Ramen + baby gyoza in near/behind the 交番 at roppongi crossing is my strong recommendation.

I tried Starbucks Filone(new hot sand witch) for lunch.
Filone and cafe la te is goods friends.

I'm afraid that Filone is not enough for TIP BROS guys, but it's yummy!
