今日出題範囲が出ましたが、Chapter 15はCheck Your Progressからみたいですね。
巻末に解答が載っているのであえて書く必要はないかもしれませんが、コピーなどの利便性を考えて、これも書いておきます。

ちなみに15.2って２問あるけど、両方ともなのかな？

15.2-1 What role does the hypothalamus play in the endocrine system?
(ans.) Controls the glandular secretions of the pituitary gland.

15.2-2 What hormones are produced by the anterior pituitary?
(ans.) thyroid-stimulating hormone, adrenocorticotropic hormone, gonadotropic hormone, prolactin hormone, melanocyte-stimulating hormone, and growth hormone.

15.5-2 What is diabetes mellitus?
(ans.) A hormonal disease in which liver cells, and most body cells, are unable to take up glucose as they should.

15.7-2 Give examples to show that the hypothalamus belongs to both the nervous system and the endocrine system?
(ans.) Hypothalamus acts directly through the nerves of the autonomic system to control internal organs and produces hormones released by the posterior pituitary, and produces hormones that control the anterior pituitary.
